Review of “Upstream Color”

I should probably note “initial review” instead. I’ve a feeling the more I watch this film the better my understanding and interpretation of it will be.
Where do I begin? I’ve mentioned more than a few times one of my favorite all-time films is “Primer”. Hence, I’m be in the bag for virtually anything Shane Carruth does, and he’s at least one guy who is doing it right. “Primer” debuted in 2004. Nine years is a long time to wait for a follow-up, which he’s explained previously. Basically funding issues and subsequent frustrations prevented his making of an allegedly outstanding sci-fi/adventure film. This was his next project, which I can say even almost a decade later, was well worth the wait.

I didn’t get this, I didn’t get “Einstein” and I didn’t get “American Prometheus”. I did finally pick up Neil deGrasse Tyson’s “Death by Black Hole and Other Cosmic Quandaries”, which has also been on my list for a long while.
