Henry Rollins on KCRW • KCRW Broadcast 210 • April 6
Currently listening to this episode for the second time. If you dig music at any level you should listen to Henry Rollins on KCRW. He never fails to spin an eccentric, eclectic mix of tunes, everything from jazz to hardcore punk to electronic noise.
If there are a few choice shows to begin with, always best to go with the episodes when Ian MacKaye sits in on the episode. It’s a history lesson with a kickass soundtrack. This one in particular is phenomenal with most of the selections from the early to recent D.C. hardcore scene, of course, one of my favorites and where I ‘came up’ in the early mid 90’s, if you can call it that. Either way, highly recommend having a listen.
