While I’ve reserved comment on the Julian Assange drama, I find this article from a couple weeks ago to be rather telling. Of course, this comes after the news of Ecuador granting asylum to Mr Assange. I will certainly not defend his case of the alleged sexual assaults. However, when Sweden fails to even accept interviewing Mr Assange on these charges, or declines to guarantee he wouldn’t be extradited to the US for our bullshit charges, imo that points to the something a bit more insidious.
