Very scary; when a government has the power to “turn off” the internet! They’ve been under “Emergency Law” since the 1970’s… I’m very surprised it’s lasted this long without massive public unrest.  Even if it’s prominent use is less than a decade old, hard to imagine what life with out “connectivity” would be like.
